Raised in North-West London, Alex Brown was introduced to music in his early teens and quickly realised it was going to be a lifelong passion. Brown strives to not only perform to the best of his abilities but to also have a sound which can be easily distinguished as his own.

Inspired by composers such as Ryuichi Sakamoto, David Wise and Keith Power, Brown takes artist inspiration from the likes of Miles Davis, Robert Glasper, FKJ and Snarky Puppy. Using the strengths of each musician, he aspires to make music which complement a scene or image, whilst still retaining semblance with popular music.

“Sometimes you have to play a long time to be able to play like yourself.”
— MILES DAVIS
